Antipodas: Weaving ThroughAntipodas is a collective of seven artists from diverse backgrounds who explore somatic bodywork, long-duration performances, transdisciplinary practices, and the concept of liminality. Our latest project, "Weaving Through," is an interactive and unique performative installation that combines various media, materials, and techniques to create an immersive experience for visitors. Through this shared experience of the woven performance, we aim to evoke a sense of discovery, curiosity, and reflection on today's urban society in relation to the environment and past cultural traditions.

Over several days, visitors can witness this living installation for 3 to 5 hours each day. The installation focuses on weaving with natural materials, resulting in a co-woven ever-growing object in space. Throughout its duration, seven performers weave music, dance, text, and video into the installation. Their weaving leaves no traces in space but only in time.
The audience is invited to move through the space and experience the different levels of activity and the various threads of the performance. The amount of activity can change drastically during the installation, ranging from an almost empty space to frenetic interaction. Visitors may find themselves drawn to certain performers or elements of the installation and may choose to become active weavers or simply observe from a distance.
