Applied and Integrated knowledge ELAP described by Marisa and Iris: "The Embodied Life Art Program is a pioneering somatic dance program offering experiential practice for the integration of knowledge through improvisation. The body, as a whole intelligent organism, is the focal point and the departure for learning. Pivotal for this training is movement research, exploring sensorial perception, self development and applied somatic in performance. It offers the opportunity to study instant composition as a performance skill and a way to navigate in life." |
As a violinist I take part in the program using movement, voice, text and instrument. All coming form the body and exploring the system we are working on in each specific module. Each system has a specific quality and it is fascinating to see what arises from that especially in the sound of my voice and violin. For more information about the program go to: ELAP |
