TrioDuo
32 is a duo I have with Maya Felixbrodt. Besides our work as moving string players we work with children, students and other artists in a workshop setting. We play interactive improvisations and serenades during neighbourhood dinners and other public gatherings and create side specific and interactive work in public spaces.
Shared Practice Gatherings: Twice a month Maya Felixbrodt and I organise Shared Practice Gatherings. A space for people to develop ideas and material through exchange, creative action and reflection. The gatherings are open for anyone to join and explore un/expected artistic desires, a platform to evaluate what is building between us and within our individual artistic practice through interaction and exchange. - Task based activities to create, reflect and interact - Read, write question, observe and share your ideas with others - Articulate your thoughts, define your creative needs and find the different layers in your work. - Interdicsiplinary meeting meant for curious people (artists/non/amateurs/anyone): you're welcome to bring musical instruments / comfortable cloths for moving / nothing / anything. |
De Makers Club:
Both in zaal 100 in Amsterdam and in the muziekstraat in Amsterdam Noord Maya and I been working with children. The makers club is a 3 day makers place for children age 6-12 to explore their dancing, colourful and musical ideas. In general, The Makers Club's work frame is open and free. It's structured as well as made on the spot by listening to the children, as individuals and as a group. Our motivation is to encourage interdisciplinary creativity and strengthen the talents unique to every child; to allow freedom of imagination and trigger creative ideas. Next to the associative mind set, we lead more structured activities in order to enrich the children's tool-box, sharpen existing qualities and expand their sources of inspiration. |
